Get to know Denise A. Slanicky, AuD, CCC-A, F-AAA
Dr. Denise Slanicky is an Audiologist who specializes in diagnostic audiological evaluations of children, especially those who are developmentally delayed. She best meets the needs of each patient by utilizing evidence-based best practices and a flexible, adaptive testing style.
Denise also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence by American Speech-Language and Hearing Association, Fellowship of American Academy of Audiology and is a Licensed Audiologist by Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Personal Statement
I believe that health care is a team effort that consists of working with the individual, their family and other health care professionals to provide personalized care. I educate the whole family about what to expect during their visit – I want them to better understand the purpose for each hearing test and why it is needed.
Because a hearing test can be performed in many different ways, I enjoy the challenge of adapting my testing style to gather the most information about each child's hearing.
