Dr. Deepa Francis Alapat is a board-certified Pediatrician with over 20 years in clinical practice with Texas Children's Pediatrics. She specializes in collaborating with families, allied health professionals and specialists to provide tailored, multidisciplinary care. Her approach combines evidence-based care with practical parenting tools to support families. She has received additional training to support children with mental health concerns and autism. She utilizes a trauma informed lens to provide compassionate care for under-resourced families and foster youth.
Personal Statement
I am deeply committed to partnering with families to better understand how to serve their children. My practice involves active listening and engagement to provide holistic care. I chose pediatrics because it allows me the privilege to advocate for children and their families, while guiding them on their journey toward health and wellness.
