Personal Statement
Cortney’s life mission is children. She loves working with children of all abilities and skill levels and specializes in developmental physical therapy. She has a special passion for children with Cerebral Palsy and other neuromuscular conditions. As part of a multidisciplinary team, Cortney helps assess and address needs of children with Cerebral Palsy who require additional complex care involving tone management and orthopedic needs. Cortney has worked in outpatient care in both private and hospital based clinics, and she also provides care in the TCH and community based NICUs and acute care floor. She has a previous history in aquatics and serial casting and has recently joined the pelvic health team in The Woodlands campus. Cortney has three of her own children at home that she and her husband love intensely. In her free time, Cortney enjoys reading, playing and watching volleyball, outdoor activities, and other sporting adventures.
