Get to know Christa Atsiaya, MS, CCC-SLP
Christa is a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with a purpose to serve and help others. Christa’s philosophy of care encompasses an evidence-based practice and a patient-centered approach in evaluation and treatment of patients. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, Christa was a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in home health and school-based settings. She assisted in providing speech therapy services to children from preschool to high school age, including special populations. She has an array of experience as a skilled clinician working with children and adults in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and long-term care.
Christa currently works in inpatient acute care at Texas Children’s Hospital. Her goal is to meet the needs of her patients with an interdisciplinary approach that includes advocating for patients and their families.
