Dr. Saldarriaga Perez brings a wealth of global medical experience to our practice. Originally from Medellin, Colombia, she trained at Inova L.J. Murphy Children's Hospital in Virginia and has practiced medicine in four different countries. This diverse background fuels Dr. Perez's passion for immigrant and global health, community medicine, medical education and child health, ensuring comprehensive, culturally sensitive care.
As a passionate advocate for global health and community care, she specializes in guiding patients and parents through medical challenges with care, kindness and compassion. Dr. Saldarriaga Perez integrates evidence-based practices with a compassionate touch, ensuring personalized care tailored to each patient's unique needs.
Personal Statement
At the heart of my practice lies a blend of kindness and compassion, with a steadfast focus on developing holistic treatment plans that address the physical, emotional and social aspects of child health. I am passionate about listening attentively to both parents and children, ensuring their voices are heard and their health needs are met with personalized care. Teaching and educating families on wellness, alongside advocating for community health, are pillars of my approach to health care.
My mission is to not only provide immediate care but also to contribute to a healthier, well-informed community where every child has the opportunity to thrive.
