Personal Statement
The philosophy I try to embody in the care I provide to both my patients and their family members is one of compassion and holistic care. I strive to ensure my patients are cared for in all aspects of their being and encourage family members to be involved in that care as well. I realize that having a baby in the NICU is never a part of parent’s plan and use that knowledge to connect with families and help them cope and thrive as a NICU parent during their child’s stay with us. Preparing both baby and parents to be strong and confident for discharge is always the immediate goal from the time I first meet my patient.
Clinical Interests
My clinical interests include delivery room management and transition to extrauterine life.
