Brennan C. Lang, MD, FACOG is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who specializes in general OB-GYN care. He is passionate about simulation-based medical education, patient safety and evidence-based patient care. Dr. Lang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine. Since 2020, he has served as the Assistant Director of Simulation for the Baylor College of Medicine OB/GYN Residency Program and as a Simulation Program Director for Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women, where he leads high-acuity obstetric simulation training for residents and multidisciplinary hospital staff.
Personal Statement
I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based obstetric and gynecologic care while building strong, collaborative relationships with my patients. I believe that health care works best as a partnership grounded in trust, communication and patient education. I strive to ensure that every patient feels heard, informed and empowered to make decisions that align with their values and goals. My approach emphasizes clear communication, respect for patient autonomy and individualized care throughout every stage of life, from preventive care and pregnancy to complex gynecologic concerns. As an educator and simulation specialist, I am also passionate about improving patient safety and advancing the training of future physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
