With 35 years of nursing experience, including 20 years dedicated to public health, clinical care, and leadership, she brings extensive expertise to her work. Ms. Martinez is committed to utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes and strengthen TB control efforts. A frequent presenter for the Heartland National TB Center, she is recognized nationally for her contributions to TB education and training. She has served as a TB nurse expert for the State of Texas and previously held the position of President of the National TB Nurses Coalition in 2015.
