Get to know Avni M. Bhalakia, MD
Dr. Avni Bhalakia is a board-certified pediatrician committed to improving the health and lives of children. She has practiced pediatrics in a variety of settings, including hospital medicine in the Bronx, New York and as a Global Health Corps Physician with the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative in Lilongwe, Malawi. She has an interest in public health and served as Medical Director of the Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Malawi community health worker program. Dr. Bhalakia currently works with the Texas Children’s Hospital Division of Public Health Pediatrics on a variety of programs.
Dr. Bhalakia joined Texas Children’s in 2017 and is passionate about providing high-quality care to children and their families.
