Personal Statement

Aurora Shekarisaz, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner affiliated with Texas Children’s and Baylor College of Medicine. She works avidly in her role on the consult-liaison service to provide evidence-based and patient-centered care to patients with a wide array of psychiatric as well as general medical conditions. She works closely with other subspecialist to find the best treatment modality for each patient and their families.

She is a member of American Nurses Association/Texas Nurse’s Association, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, Houston Area Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Golden Key International Honour Society.
