Personal Statement
Ashley Upton is a registered vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN and pediatric sonographer with experience in combined adult and pediatric ultrasound. She has been a staff sonographer at Texas Children's Hospital since 2012. She works closely with the Interventional Radiology department and provides ultrasound support throughout the course of patient interventions.
Ashley is excited to be a part of the multidisciplinary team caring for patients and believes ultrasound plays an important role in patient management. Currently she serves as the lead sonographer for both the Portal Vein Thrombosis Program and the Vascular Anomalies Center. She is passionate in providing the highest standard of imaging to help our clinicians take the very best care of our patients.
Clinical and Research Interests: pediatric liver diseases including biliary atresia, portal vein thrombosis and portal hypertension, vascular malformations.
