Personal Statement
As a neonatal nurse practitioner, my philosophy of advanced provider nursing care is rooted in the concepts of holistic, family-centered care and patient/family advocacy. Through honesty and open communication, I strive to build a strong, trusting provider-family relationship that keeps respect for their unique values and belief systems at the forefront. I believe that advocacy through education is one of the strongest ways that you can empower families. It is also my belief that each patient/family interaction is a unique opportunity to positively impact their lives and improve their overall outcomes.
