Ariel Turner is a Speech-Language Pathologist that treats dysphagia and pediatric feeding disorders within populations such as neonates (NICU), infant, and pediatrics. She strives to use the latest evidence-based practice to tailor therapeutic treatments to meet the individual needs of each patient/family.
Ariel frequently engages in continuing education courses and seeking out research to utilize within along with her clinical expertise to provide the most optimal patient outcomes. In addition to this, Ariel is constantly collaborating with various disciplines, within the hospital system and across the community, to ensure the best patient outcomes and holistic care for all patients she treats.

Personal Statement
I believe in using a family-centered approach that emphases creating open lines of communication with families/caregivers, focuses on capitalizing on each individual patient’s strengths and scaffolding weaknesses until they are functional by following the lead of every child’s personal pace of development, and supports them using the most up-to-date evidenced-based practice.
I strive to educate families until they feel they are familiar and comfortable with the designated plan of care so that they feel empowered to be active participants in their child’s therapy and incorporate within their home environment.
