Dr. Anisha Patel is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine, based at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women. She has a strong interest in evidence-based labor and delivery management, preventative care, high risk obstetrics, and postpartum care. In addition to her clinical interests, she is passionate about medical student and resident education, and surgical teaching. She has served as an Education Chief Resident and taught multiple medical student lectures. She is committed to patient centered care, and patient safety.
Personal Statement
I thoroughly enjoy connecting with patients and their families during their varying health journeys. I am deeply committed to patient centered care and patient autonomy. I apply an evidence-based approach to all encounters to ensure my patients have the most up-to-date information to base their medical decisions. I am also passionate about education at all training levels. In my free time I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and daughter and exploring the city of Houston.
