Angie currently practices as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Texas Children’s in the acute and chronic pain care settings managing acute, chronic, and procedural pain in children. She has worked at Texas Children’s for 25 years.
On the pain service, she provides consultation for perioperative pain management, inpatient consultation for patients with sickle cell disease, neuropathic pain, musculoskeletal pain, cancer-related pain, and chronic pain types. She also manages patients in outpatient setting for chronic pain with focus on optimizing function.
Angie has a special interest in clinical education as she coordinates the pain management education of the anesthesia fellows, palliative care fellows, and nurse practitioner trainees and students.
