Personal Statement
I am a developmental neurologist seeking to advance lifelong care for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including developmental and epileptic encephalopathies, with a focus on transition-to-adulthood.
I try to approach my patients and their families in a manner that understands and identifies their needs beyond only caring for a primary “concern,” but instead addresses their care holistically and seeks to advance beyond the absence of illness into an idea of wellness and quality of life. I am deeply committed to understanding differences in care across systems and providing high-quality and sustainable care.
I enjoy reading and listening to podcasts, especially about contemporary application of philosophy, new science and paradigms on how our mind and body works, and classic literature. I also avidly jump rope.
Clinical Interests
Developmental and epileptic encephalopathies, transition to adulthood, gut-brain interactions
