Amber Shook, PT, DPT joined Texas Children's Hospital as a Clinical Specialist in April 2025. She brings over seven years of experience in outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine, with a clinical focus on the treatment of diverse orthopedic conditions, post-operative rehabilitation, and concussion management. Drawing from her background as a collegiate softball athlete, Amber has a particular interest in working with overhead athletes and is passionate about helping them return to peak performance.

I place a strong emphasis on patient and family education, empowering them with the knowledge and tools necessary to understand their condition and actively participate in their recovery.
