Alicia Wass is passionate about providing a family-based approach to treating pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders. She has had the opportunity to serve infants and children (and their families) with a variety of diagnoses including prematurity, cerebral palsy, genetic disorders, sensory processing disorders, autism spectrum disorder, oral-motor disorders, as well as gastrointestinal, cardiac and airway conditions. She believes strongly in interdisciplinary collaboration, family collaboration and education, and evidence-based practice. Alicia has obtained specialized training and education in pediatric dysphagia, feeding difficulties in infants and children, and children with tracheostomies.
