About

Dr. Braun is dedicated to providing outstanding clinic care in the context of innovative clinical and translational research. His clinical interests include membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, disorders of complement proteins, renal transplantation, disease recurrence in renal transplantation, end-stage renal disease, dialysis, acute Kidney Injury, nephrotic syndrome, kidney and urinary tract anomalies, and hypertension.

Research Interests:

Dr. Braun is an NIH-funded investigator with a research focus on autoimmune renal diseases. He has published extensively on the role of complement proteins in renal injury in both animal models and in patients with kidney disease.
