About

Research Interests:

Dr. Hensch is a member of the Division of Transfusion Medicine and Coagulation.  Her primary research interests include developing evidence-based strategies for safe transfusion in the pediatric patient population.  She is also actively involved in several research projects regarding hemostasis in ECMO patients and coagulation testing.  Dr. Hensch is board certified in blood banking/transfusion medicine  and anatomic and clinical pathology.
