About

Dr. Loftis continues as the Baylor liaison to the Pediatric Acute Lung Injury and Sepsis Investigators group. She is the Baylor Principal Investigator for several multi-institutional clinical research trials, including examining the genetics of severe influenza infections, and studying the surfactant replacement in acute lung injury and surfactant protein variants in bronochiolitis. She is currently enrolled in a Medical Ethics Masters Program through Creighton Unversity.
