Dr. Abid's clinical interests include general child neurology and muscular dystrophy. Her research interests are in muscular dystrophy with focus on Duchenne muscular dystrophy.  Dr. Abid is also involved in multiple clinical trials related to Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
