When your child needs complex or rare medications, we're here to help—every step of the way.
Texas Children’s Specialty Pharmacy provides medication typically prescribed for chronic or complex medical conditions that may not be available through a neighborhood pharmacy. Our team of highly skilled pharmacists, technicians, and medical professionals work together to meet your child’s unique needs, offering personalized, coordinated care.
Convenience and support
As a participant in the Specialty Pharmacy program, you’ll have access to free home delivery of prescriptions, education and counseling, automatic refill scheduling, and patient services offered in multiple languages. Our pharmacists will provide all the information you need to properly dose and administer your child’s medications, and we’re here 24/7 to answer any questions or help manage any side effects.
Easy refills
Our pharmacy staff will automatically contact you each month to arrange medication refills. You can also request a refill by calling 877-727-2503 (option 2).
Insurance assistance
Our benefits investigation team will help determine your insurance status, any necessary steps to ensure coverage, and your out-of-pocket costs. The team will also coordinate with our clinic pharmacists to help obtain prior authorizations, and it will work with our financial counselors to determine if patient assistance programs are available for uninsured or underinsured patients.
