Texas Children's Hospital Pediatric Neurocritical Care is a physically independent space specially designed for children with critical neurological conditions. It is one of the very first pediatric units of its kind in the country incorporating the latest multimodal neuro-monitoring techniques into a collaborative multi-disciplinary team-based approach to the care of patients with critical neurological illness.
Our Goal
Our goal is to provide the highest quality care to children with critical neurological illness. We strive to lead the field of neurocritical care in patient care, education and research.
Follow-up
The goal of our program is to provide the highest quality care at all facets of your child's illness so he or she can return to daily life outside of the hospital with the best possible outcome. This is achieved by integrating care from the community, through hospitalization, rehabilitation, and ultimately to home. We are establishing a neurocritical care follow-up program and clinic led by critical care neurologists and neuropsychologists.
