Texas Children’s Pediatrics announces first locations in Austin

News

AUSTIN, TX – (July 23, 2018) – Texas Children’s Pediatrics (TCP), the nation’s largest pediatric primary care network, is excited to announce its first two locations in Austin, Texas. TCP Austin Pediatrics – located at 5625 Eiger Road, suite 225 – and TCP Pediatric Partners – located at 3410 Far West Blvd., suite 130 – join the network of more than 50 locations offering high-quality, efficient and personalized pediatric care to Texas families.

Dr. Casey Mulcihy, who has more than 30 years of experience in caring for children, leads TCP Austin Pediatrics. Dr. Daniel Terwelp and Dr. Sahar Burns lead TCP Pediatric Partners and believe strongly that pediatricians should be partners with parents to keep kids healthy and happy from birth to adulthood.

“We are thrilled to welcome Drs. Mulcihy, Terwelp and Burns to the Texas Children’s Pediatrics family,” said Kay Tittle, president of Texas Children’s Pediatrics. “We believe pediatricians are much more than doctors – they are partners in your child’s health and we are excited to bring our brand of pediatric care to the Austin community.”

Texas Children's Pediatrics locations provide full-service pediatric care for children of all ages including, among other offerings, prenatal counseling; newborn and infant care; well and sick child visits; immunizations; and hearing and vision screenings; as well as camp, school and sports physicals.

Last year, Texas Children’s announced plans to expand its pediatric health care offerings into the Austin community. These two pediatric practices follow the successful opening of Texas Children’s Urgent Care Westgate, which in March 2018 was Texas Children’s first health care location in Austin. Texas Children’s Urgent Care Westgate provides high quality, efficient and affordable pediatric-focused care after hours and on weekends. Additionally, scheduled to open in October 2018, Texas Children’s Specialty Care Austin will bring subspecialty pediatric care to the Austin community, increasing access for children and families in need of cardiology, ophthalmology and pulmonary care, among other subspecialties.
