Hospital sponsors 2021 Houston Open located at Memorial Park Golf Course in Houston

HOUSTON, TX (Nov. 24, 2021) – Texas Children’s Hospital was thrilled to team up with the Astros Golf Foundation to serve as a Community-Partner sponsor of the 2021 Houston Open. The event, held Nov. 11 - 14 at Memorial Park Golf Course, has been a staple on the PGA Tour calendar for 75 years.

Texas Children’s was delighted to host patients, their families and employees for a private luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 10 during the Pro Am on the 18th green at Memorial Park. Texas Children’s also sponsored the Houston Open Family Fun Zone – a space with games and activities that entertained children and families attending the tournament.

This year’s Houston Open was the third tournament hosted and operated by the Astros Golf Foundation, which was established to ensure that Houston remains a host of the PGA TOUR event. The tournament is also a fundraising opportunity to benefit the community through local park improvements and investments in youth programs as a part of the larger Astros Foundation.
