Media Story

Emergency Center Pediatric Physician at Texas Children's Hospital, Dr. Anthony Arredondo, joined TranStar for a special presentation displaying the dangerously high levels of heat inside parked cars. As the summer heats up, Dr. Arredondo reminded parents that children under 4 years of age are most at risk for heat related illnesses. He recommended to avoid being out in the heat if possible during the hottest parts of the day, typically from 2-4 pm, and stay hydrated.
