To apply for any of the Texas Children’s Hospital Pharmacy residency programs, the following must be completed and submitted through PhORCAS prior to the application deadline:
Letter of Intent: A typed letter describing your career goals and reasons for pursuing a residency at Texas Children’s Hospital
Curriculum Vitae (CV): An updated CV detailing your educational and professional experience
Transcript: An official transcript of coursework from your pharmacy school
Recommendation Forms: Three recommendation forms (letters are not required). At least one recommendation must come from a recent employer or manager, and another from a preceptor
Additional Requirements for PGY1/PGY2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration Residency:
Sign up for and complete a PPS or pre-application interview prior to being offered an on-site (or virtual) interview.
Important Dates
Application Deadline: January 3, 2025. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
Unofficial Transcripts: Accepted at the time of application; however, pending official transcripts must be submitted via the portal.
Reference Forms: Encourage your references to complete their recommendations on time; late submissions of reference forms will not penalize the applicant.
Interview Offers: Extended in January following the application deadline.
Residency Start Date: The residency begins on the first Monday in July.
