Personal Statement
Sally Willis is an Occupational Therapist with 10 years of experience who specializes in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) in children and infants. Her primary areas of practice include infants born with neurological or other diagnoses, infants born pre-term, Acute Outpatient Rehabilitation Program (AORP), brain injury (both traumatic and acquired), spinal cord injury, oncology, cardiology, high medical complexity and developmental delay.
From Ms. Willis:
I value the importance of addressing postural stability to maximize functionality. Identifying and treating underlying impairments in infancy, early childhood and during the rehabilitation process are the keys to 1) meeting functional outcomes and 2) affording my patients the freedom and independence to participate with peers and family in all things meaningful.
My practice is driven by focusing on the body and its multiple systems as a whole. I am a believer in the earliest intervention possible and feel it is never too early to get started.
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, spending time with my friends, barre class and pilates, comedy and having lazy days on the couch watching Real Housewives (guilty pleasure) with my adorable cat, Wally.
