Norma Terrazas is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has been working in varying roles at Texas Children’s Hospital for over 30 years. After earning her BSN, she worked on the Pediatric Hospitalist Unit for 10 years before obtaining her MS in pediatric nurse practitioner primary care. She is excited to blend her past clinical experience and her love for pediatrics in seeing her patients here at Texas Children’s Hospital Westwood.
Norma is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Houston Area Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys educating and providing care to pediatric patients and families of all ages. In addition to her clinical expertise, she is fluent in Spanish, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population and their families.
Personal Statement
Clinics can be a scary place for a child. I believe in partnering with parents to provide evidence-based care in a caring and child-focused manner to help meet the needs of our patients and family.
