Personal Statement
Nara Caballero is a licensed clinical social worker at Texas Children’s Hospital Medical Campus. She has nearly two decades of experience as a rehabilitation social worker caring for children and adults. In addition to holding bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work, Nara is a certified substance abuse counselor and certified brain injury specialist.
As a pediatric rehab social worker, she is dedicated to serving the rehabilitation needs of children who have sustained life altering events and/or surgeries. When working with patients, she promotes self-determination and believes in effecting positive change based on each patient’s unique abilities. She also serves as a link between hospital and community resources to provide the best possible outcome for her patients and families.
