Personal Statement
I am passionate about delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care that meets the needs of both patients and their families – especially in high-acuity, high-stress situations like the pediatric ICU and emergency settings. I believe that clear communication, empathy and teamwork are as critical as clinical skill, and I strive to build trust through honest, compassionate care. I see health care as a collaboration and do my best to make families feel heard, supported, and included in every decision.
Outside of work, I’m a wife, mom to five wonderful kids and an active member of my local community. I stay involved in EMS education and public service, and I love opportunities to support new clinicians as they grow into their roles. When I’m not at the bedside or in the field, you can find me reading, writing, drinking too much coffee or spending time outdoors with my family.
