Personal Statement
I believe every person has the potential to live their best life and I love my role in helping each child and their family set and reach their goals for maximal function, independence or performance. I have been with Texas Children’s Hospital since November 2008. I have a special interest in neurological disorders, torticollis, gross motor delays, orthopedic injuries, and gait disorders. I am one of two PT’s who performs serial casting for toe walking at Sugar Land Specialty Care. I also work with our NICU therapy team to provide services for babies who are born preterm at our community hospitals. Prior to Texas Children’s Hospital, I have an additional 11 years experience providing physical therapy services in an acute care setting at a level 1 trauma hospital, working in the intensive care unit (ICU) to inpatient rehab. When I am not at work, I enjoy active adventures such as scuba diving, hiking, and snow skiing with my family and friends.
