Dr. Kubota-Mishra is a pediatric endocrinologist with a strong focus on managing type 1 diabetes in children. She is a passionate advocate for improving access to diabetes technology, striving to ensure all children receive optimal care. She also brings her personal experience of being a diabetes patient at Texas Children's Hospital to each of her patient's visits.
Personal Statement
My philosophy of care is rooted in a deep commitment to education and empathy. As a physician, I believe in empowering my patients and their families with knowledge, thus enabling them to make informed decisions about their health. I understand the importance of not just treating the condition but also providing emotional support and guidance to help patients live their best lives. In my practice, I aim to foster a partnership with my patients and their families to achieve their health goals through shared decision making and ensuring they never feel alone in their journey to health and wellness.
