Get to know Cara Masterson, MS
Cara earned her undergraduate degree at Ball State University where she worked in the biomechanics laboratory on clinical gait analysis related projects. Cara then completed her masters degree at Boise State University where she later served as the laboratory manager at the Center for Orthopaedic and Biomechanics Research. During this time, she assisted in the development of a clinical gait analysis service in collaboration with St. Luke’s Medical Center. Cara joined Texas Children’s in December 2016 and helped develop Texas Children’s first Motion Analysis Lab, which opened in April 2017. She brings almost 10 years of experience to Texas Children’s motion analysis team and has a passion for working with a multi-disciplinary team to help advance clinical decision making and patient care.
Clinical Interests
The utilization of motion analysis and current evidence based research to develop and implement new clinical services related to motion capture.
