From a dedicated liaison team and ongoing educational events, to a web-based provider portal and access to specialists 24/7, we are here for you.

Education Opportunities

Texas Children’s is committed to providing the highest level of patient care by offering outstanding interprofessional development opportunities to our medical personnel. These opportunities in pediatrics and pediatric specialties are a joint effort of Texas Children’s – the largest pediatric hospital in the U.S. – and Baylor College of Medicine, our highly ranked academic partner that is home to one of the largest, most diverse and successful pediatric programs in the nation.

How to Refer a Patient


Submit the following information:

  1. Contact information or legal representative
    1. Names and surnames
    2. Country of residence
    3. Phone numbers
    4. Email
  2. Patient information
    1. Names and surnames
    2. Date of Birth
    3. Medical records
      • Summary of the treatment as of today
      • Medication names, dates and dosages
      • Lab results and radiology reports
      • Ultrasounds, X-rays or MRIs (if you have any of this, let us know so that we can send you access to upload them) - Send this information to international@texaschildrens.org

  • A member of our team will respond to your request and all necessary information will be sent to the patient's parents or legal representative;
  • Once we have everything we need to proceed, your patient will be assigned an International Coordinator dedicated solely to their request to discuss any questions or concerns they may have;
  • Their medical information will then be reviewed by our specialists who will provide a medical recommendation;
  • After medical review and financial authorization is complete, their International Coordinator will work with your patient to schedule appointments or services based on clinic availability
