Data Science Hub Data Access

Texas Children’s Hospital has the largest pediatric patient population in the United States, drawing from the nation’s most diverse city, Houston. We therefore amass a uniquely diverse and large amount of data that offers unparalleled research opportunities, including for the study of rare childhood diseases, health disparities, and pediatric health trends over time.

Our Office of Research Data manages our OMOP (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership) data and facilitates access to the electronic health record and the electronic data warehouse, making our patient data more accessible for research, analytics, and inter-institutional collaboration. To access this data, researchers at Texas Children’s Hospital or Baylor College of Medicine may contact us at researchdata@texaschildrens.org.
