Texas Children’s Hospital has the largest pediatric patient population in the United States, drawing from the nation’s most diverse city, Houston. Our data offers unparalleled research opportunities, including for the study of rare childhood diseases, health disparities, and pediatric health trends over time. We use the OMOP (Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership) model for organizing and standardizing our electronic health records, making this information more accessible for research, analytics, and inter-institutional collaboration.

Our de-identified patient data is available to researchers with a Texas Children’s Hospital or Baylor College of Medicine, and to approved researchers upon request. Contact us at researchdata@texaschildrens.org
