Hear from mentor-mentee pairs in our Research Faculty Mentorship Program

Research Faculty Mentorship Program

Our Research Faculty Mentorship Committee thoughtfully pairs mentees with senior faculty from across different disciplines, taking into account the mentee’s career stage and specific research interests. Through these valued relationships, mentees enhance their leadership skills and learn the nuts and bolts of running a research program—everything from handling compliance and personnel issues to managing budgets. Mentees are also asked to evaluate their mentors annually, helping to ensure the program’s quality.

Peer mentoring program

In addition to faculty mentorship, Texas Children’s offers a robust, interdisciplinary peer mentoring program. Researchers across departments and disciplines learn from and support each other at every stage, from their first K submission through career independence.

K Club

K to R Group
