About

Renata Maricevich, MD, FACS, FAAP was born and raised in Recife, Brazil, where she received her Medical Degree from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. She moved to the United States to pursue training and completed General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residencies at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, followed by Pediatric Craniofacial Fellowship of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Currently, she practices Pediatric Plastic, Cleft and Craniofacial Surgery at Texas Children’s Hospital. An Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, Dr. Maricevich is also part of Vascular Anomalies and the Head and Neck tumor reconstruction teams. She is also interested in Education and International Medicine.
