The 2024 EBF3-HADDS Family Conference

The EBF3-HADDS Foundation will host the third annual international conference at the Duncan NRI auditorium on July 24-26, 2024 to bring together HADDS patients, families, physicians, and scientists engaged in studying this a new neurogenetic disorder discovered by Dr. Hsiao Tuan Chao and her team at the Duncan NRI in 2017. With about 200 attendees from the US and various countries around the world, this is the only and largest family conference in the world for EBF3-HADDS. 

Inaugural Feigin Rising Stars Research Symposium

The inaugural Feigin Rising Stars Research Symposium will be conducted on 9am to 5pm Thursday, January 18, in the Blue Bird Circle Auditorium, 7th Floor, Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute. This special symposium will feature the best and the brightest young investigators (scientists and physician-scientists) from around the country who are poised to lead their own independent research programs in the next few years. The keynote speaker for the event will be Dr. Mary Armanios, Director of the Telomere Center and Professor of Oncology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. 

2022 MECP2 Duplication Syndrome Family Conference

This important family conference will bring together physicians, scientists, trainees, and families to discuss current developments in MECP2 duplication syndrome research and patient care. Exciting potential therapeutic interventions will be addressed at the conference on September 23 and 24, 2022.

2022 EBF3 HADDS International Conference

The EBF3-HADDS Foundation was created to promote awareness, research, and support for a rare genetic syndrome discovered in 2016. The foundation will host the annual international conference at the Duncan NRI auditorium on July 21-23, 2022.
