The Scoliosis and Spinal Deformity Program at Texas Children’s Hospital provides specialized evaluation, treatment and care to patients with scoliosis, spinal fractures, back pain and other spinal deformities. Our multi-disciplinary team of spine experts see more than 4,900 patients each year, and work closely with their families to provide a comprehensive treatment plan for managing spine-related issues.
At Texas Children’s, we have five spine surgeons who conduct more than 240 spine surgeries each year as part of our nationally-ranked orthopedics program. Additionally, they are members of the Surgeons Performance Program, a national organization dedicated to improving quality care.
When surgery is necessary, our spine team collaborates closely with Texas Children’s neurosurgeons, pulmonologists and nutritionists to coordinate care and create the best possible outcomes.
