Texas Children's is home to the largest pediatric otolaryngology program in the nation. Pediatric otolaryngologists, also known as ear, nose and throat (ENT) surgeons, are responsible for treating children who have medical conditions of the ear, nose, throat, and head and neck. Our 29 surgeons and 10 advanced practice providers offer a comprehensive range of services at all three Texas Children’s Hospital locations, as well as five other Texas Children’s Specialty Care locations in the Houston metropolitan area. With specialty programs including airway reconstruction, head and neck surgery, otology and cochlear implantation, vascular anomalies, Down syndrome, microtia and atresia, and tracheostomy care, we see approximately 40,000 patients in our offices and perform over 10,000 surgical cases each year. And we are still growing!
The future of otolaryngology at Texas Children's is brighter than ever as we continue to develop more minimally-invasive surgical techniques, expand our surgical options for children with head and neck tumors, and improve our treatments for hearing restoration.
As always, we are committed to doing our best to assure all of our patients receive the highest level of care possible. To learn more about otolaryngology at Texas Children’s, including the conditions we treat, services we offer, our team and locations, click here.
