Administrative Fellowship Application Information

Qualifications

Applicants must hold, or be on track to complete by the fellowship start date, a graduate degree from one of the following accredited programs:

This fellowship may serve as the final requirement for degree completion if all didactic coursework is finished prior to the start date.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

  • A passion for advancing quality healthcare for children and women.
  • Understanding of healthcare systems and business principles.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Initiative, adaptability, and organizational awareness.

Application Materials and Submission

Application materials must be submitted as a single PDF

Required materials (submit in the order below):

  1. Completed Cover Sheet
  2. Official Graduate School Transcripts
  3. Current Resume
  4. One-page, single-spaced Personal Statement
  5. 2 Letters of Recommendation

Items to keep in mind as you submit: 

  • Combine all materials into a single PDF titled:
    LastName_FirstName_TCHFellowship2027.pdf (Ex. Doe_Jane_TCHFellowship2027.pdf)
  • Submit online application through texaschildrenspeople.org.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Application Timeline

  • Applications Open: June 1, 2026
  • Applications Close: August 6th, 2026
  • Start Date: July 2027

Interview Process

  • Selected candidates will be contacted for virtual first-round interviews. 
  • Finalists will be invited to participate in interviews with members of the executive leadership team.
