About Us Pavilion Patient Satisfaction Score

Why is patient satisfaction important?

Texas Children’s Hospital Pavilion for Women remains committed to improving our patients’ experience by continuing to collect patient and family feedback in a variety of ways and by measuring against both our past performance and the performance of other leading children’s and women’s hospitals. Our goal is to continuously improve and to provide each of our patients with the very best care.

What does patient satisfaction measure?

Texas Children’s Hospital Pavilion for Women is committed to providing high-quality service to help ensure a positive patient and family experience. Patient satisfaction measures how our patients and their families experience the care they receive. The scores here are based on the number of patients giving the highest possible rating when surveyed. These patients have either been discharged from a hospital stay in our Mother-Baby and Women’s Specialty Units, or have outpatient visits at the Pavilion for Women, Pearland Obstetrics and Gynecology, or any of our Community Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinics.

What can you do as a patient?

Texas Children’s Hospital highly values feedback from patients and families. Our improvement efforts are directly related to the feedback received through the patient satisfaction survey, which is administered anonymously by Press Ganey, a third-party company. We encourage patients and families to complete the survey to help us improve our services for you — and for all Pavilion for Women patients. In addition, you may immediately report any concerns or compliments you have directly to the Family Advocacy department by calling 832-824-1919.
