Why are appointment wait times important?

At Pavilion for Women, your time is important to us. We know how challenging it can be to make time to take care of yourself. Our teams strive to minimize the time you wait before your appointments.

What does the average appointment wait time measure?

This is the usual amount of time patients with scheduled appointments for clinic visits or testing, wait from the time you are checked in until you are taken to and exam or testing room.

What can you do as a patient?

• One way to help reduce the time you wait is by using MyChart. MyChart is an online tool you can use to manage appointments, get test results, and send us non-urgent questions about your care, billing, or other concerns. Sign up for MyChart before your visit, and complete your health history questionnaire before you arrive.
• Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before your scheduled appointments. Call if you are running late or need to reschedule.
• If you are in the waiting room longer than 15 minutes past your appointment time, please alert the front desk staff.
