Get to know Zachary C. Foughty, MD, MBA, MPA
Dr. Foughty specializes in the care of acutely and critically ill children and adolescents in Texas Children’s Hospital’s Houston-area emergency centers. He also provides care for acutely ill children in the Kinder Children's Cancer Center Same-day Triage, Assessment, and Response (STAR) clinic.
He has a clinic interest in the care of patents with hematologic, oncologic and cardiac conditions who present to the emergency centers.
Dr. Foughty has had a career in providing specialized medical care in the US and internationally. He has previously worked in Kenya and Botswana, focusing on care of children and adolescents living with HIV, and has ongoing work in Belize and Suriname, where he focuses on triage, assessment and treatment of acutely and critically ill children in the emergency setting.
