Personal Statement

Nicole Casanova is a physician assistant who specializes in pediatric surgery. She works with several surgeons and is a first assistant for several different specialties such as general surgery, urology, orthopedics, plastic surgery and pediatric gynecology.

I am consistently enthusiastic, motivated and a dedicated member of my team. I strive to provide exceptional, high-quality care to my patients and families. I am skilled in a broad range of surgical procedures with exceptional knowledge in general surgery, such as bariatric surgery, and pectus excavatum repair.

Clinical Interests: bariatric surgery, pectus excavatum repair

Research Interests: utilization of Exparel local anesthetics intra-op to decrease post op pain and decrease use of narcotics
