Get to know Nancy A. Ayres, MD
Dr. Ayres' areas of interests are fetal echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and telecardiology. She has developed a subsection of fetal cardiology to provide comprehensive cardiac care to the fetus with congenital cardiac defects to further enhance the active fetal echocardiography service. Dr. Ayres is a member of the Texas Children's Hospital Fetal Intervention team and participates in fetal surgery for lung masses, neck masses, and sacrococcygeal teratomas. She has organized a team to embark on fetal cardiac interventions at the Texas Children's Hospital Pavilion for Women.
