Personal Statement
Lori Douglas, BSN, RN, CPHON, is a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for the Long-Term Survivor Program at Texas Children’s Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. She also serves as Patient Navigator for both the Passport for Care Clinical and Survivor Websites. The Clinical Website allows pediatric oncology caregivers to enter into the secure database details about the specific types and scope of cancer treatments that the survivor received. The Survivor Website offers survivors free access to a tailored and comprehensive long-term care plan that can be shared with healthcare providers.
Lori is the Center’s chemotherapy/biology instructor for nursing and she enjoys providing education to our long-term survivors and their families.
