Kathryn Elizabeth Ban, MD

Dr. Ban is a pediatric hospitalist who is board certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. She strives to provide all of her patients with high quality, evidence-based care. “I believe that open communication and the incorporation of patients’ and caregivers’ values into the care plan results in better compliance, improved outcomes and overall higher patient/family satisfaction,” she says. Dr. Ban is also a strong proponent of a team-based approach to patient care and values the input of other pediatric subspecialists, therapists, dieticians and nurses in a patient’s care plan.
